Training of Moldovan forensic experts, crime scene officers and representatives of law enforcement agencies as part of Eastern Partnership activities.
On 24 – 27th of October 2016 in Technical Criminalistic and Judicial Expertise Centre in Chisinau (Moldova), as dictated by Police Cooperation programme as part of Eastern Partnership, experts of Biology and Fingerprint examination Departments of CFLP conducted trainings for Moldovan forensic experts, crime scene officers and representatives of law enforcement agencies.
The trainees learned about DNA database as well as the procedure of international DNA exchange as part of Prüm Decision. Experts tackled the issues concerning blood stain pattern analysis and methods of securing the biological material for forensic reports and further forensic investigation. Participants learned also about methods of visualization and securing finger print evidence on the crime scene and in laboratory routine.
Expert team on mission consisted of: Joanna Dąbrowska – Deputy Head of Biology Department of CFLP, Anna Jurga – Specialist of Biology Department, Bożena Wysocka – assistant of Biology Department and Karolina Kozdrój-Miler – specialist of Finger print Department of CFLP.
