VISIT OF PROSECUTORS FROM GERMANY AND ROMANIA TO THE CFLP

On 12th September 2019 four prosecutors from Germany and Romania paid a visit to Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police as part of the training exchange of prosecutors organized by European Judicial Training Network, organized by Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.

The visit to the CFLP was one of the elements of the internship exchange, which aims to present the functioning of the justice system in Poland. During the visit the prosecutors met with the CFLP Director, col. Radosław Juźwiak PhD, became acquainted with the quality management system functioning in the CFLP. The CFLP experts presented the Institute’s research possibilities in scope of  examination of weapons, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors, trace evidence, gunshot residues (GSR), as well as polygraph tests. Research on forensic genetics and the functioning of the Polish DNA Database, especially in terms of international automatic data exchange, were also presented.
