“ILLICIT LABORATORY DISMANTLING – ADVANCED” TRAINING COURSE

“Illicit Laboratory Dismantling” international training course on dismantling illicit drug laboratories was organized by the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police in cooperation with EUROPOL and CEPOL on 13—24 May 2019 in Jachranka near Warsaw. Practical exercises took place in the International Center for Combating Clandestine Laboratories of the Police Training Center in Legionowo.

The training course was attended by 32 attendees from European Union countries and Iceland representing forensic laboratories and police units involved in combating drug-related crime. During the course the participants could broaden their knowledge on synthesis methods and methods of smuggling precursors/drugs and the dismantling of illicit synthetic drug laboratories and their precursors. They also presented the situation on the illicit drug market in their countries. Courses were both lectures and practical exercises and they were conducted by the representatives of LFO, EUROPOL, CFLP and the Central Investigation Bureau.
