"Criminalistic and Judicial Expertise: Present and Future Effective Weapon in Combating Corruption" Conference

On 19-20 April 2018 the international conference "Criminalistic and Judicial Expertise: Present and Future Effective Weapon in Combating Corruption" took place in Chisinau (Moldova).

The main subjects brought up by the speakers in their presentations referred to forensic examinations and corruption threats during the criminal proceedings. The experts from the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police were also invited as speakers. Ewa Kartasińska Ph.D. from Biology Department delivered a presentation on “Genetics and fingerprints – enemies or allies”. Piotr Trojanowski – National Coordinator for Scene of Crime Officers provided the overview of the structure and functioning of the Scene of Crime Officers in Polish Police.
