Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation Programme is financed from the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument. During 4-year implementation period which started in 2014, such beneficiaries, as: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine receive expert support from the EU countries in scope of methods for fight against organised crime as well as the implementation of standards for the management of public order institutions. At the beginning of 2016, the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police joined the EaP programme by offering various forms of training support. The programme has contributed to enhancing law enforcement agencies of Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine in their capability to fight organised, cross-border crime as well as resulted in strengthening the cooperation between relevant services of the EaP and the EU countries. CFLP experts conducted a series of seminars which improved the competence of EaP experts across a variety of forensic disciplines, such as: handwriting and questioned documents examination, video, IT, firearms and fingerprints examination. During the meetings the process of training of candidates for forensic experts, forensic databases and general management of forensic science laboratory were discussed. CFLP activities in Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation programme were implemented throughout 2016.
